Luovuuden puutarha - event concept
Project objectives:
Plan a start of the year event for new and returning design students.

Special focus: Project management, scheduling, supporting teams, communication between parties, budgeting, presenting, concept ideation

The concept:
A warm and welcoming start of the year event for all design students and staff in the “Garden of creativity”.
Theme: Autumn harvest in the garden of creativity.
Program included: Alumni speeches, project exhibitions, a dance and fashion collaboration number, garden games.

Project phases:
Small teams create initial event concepts
kick-off with a creative “Think with your senses” -collage method
Miro-board concept ideation: moodboards, personas, program inspiration
Presenting team ideas, feedback and selection of theme(s) for further development
Forming of new task groups: graphic design, catering, program, communications and marketing, visual athmosphere and values / ethical matters + two project leaders
Delivering a thought out, ready to be executed event plan with graphic guidelines, secured program, catering, visual element instructions, ethical guides, safer space guide, schedule, budget and contact information.
