MOOC-concept for Savonia University of Applied Sciences
Project objective:
Develop a concept for MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) at Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
Project challenges:
1. differentiation from competitors
2. devising startegies to enhance student motivation for course completion
3. creating course structures or tools to enable effective time management for students.

Special focus: Visual elements in prototype (manipulation of Adobe Stock images + creation of mascot illustration), expert interview on gamification and ideation of gamified elements and concepting of charity element. Equal participation in desk research, theme ideation and building prototype in Figma.
Our concept:
Gamified course packages to induce engagement in studies.
Guidance counselor function as an aid in study planning. Assists in scheduling and planning course completion. Includes accessibility settings
Appealing to shared values for a common good objective: By completing the entire course package, Savonia commits to donating to charity.
